The challenge
- The Utah Cutthroat Slam challenges anglers to catch all four of Utah's native cutthroat subspecies in their native waters and show visual proof. (guidebook p. 10)
- The Cutthroat Slam fee is $20 for adults and $10 for youth under 18, and it funds cutthroat conservation in Utah. (guidebook p. 10)
- New for 2026, slam finishers pick which of four species medallions they receive; the program has raised more than $126,000 since 2016. (guidebook p. 10)
