Latest fishing report

DWR report dated Aug. 18, 202637 days old, seasonal outlook

Fall outlook: rainbows stocked in spring give fair to good fishing at Box Creek and the lakes at the north end, though Box Creek fish are small new tigers and rainbows after the Monroe Fire drained both reservoirs in 2025. Barney Lake should fish well, and Manning Meadow, open until Jan. 1, should be excellent for cutthroat to 20 inches.
